Smart building solutions are the foundation for successfully building smart city

The smart city policy that guides smart applications and services in the cities where people live and is being inspired by various countries. The platform has the characteristics of compatibility, stability and expandability. It is an open and decentralized integrated networking platform, which can integrate any network protocol equipment, easily realize interconnection, interworking and interactive operation, and realize the real intelligence of the equipment. FIC has actually used this platform in Taiwan to deploy more than 400 different types of case fields, including building monitoring, transportation, power grid maintenance, and energy management. At the same time, FIC also has a number of original certified development engineers to develop the software of this open platform and assist in importing the platform system into various fields according to customer requirements.

Smart building introduction starts from building electricity

The building consumes considerable energy in the use process. In terms of building power management, it is a priority management indicator in the development of smart buildings. FIC uses open platform software to develop power management and contract capacity energy conservation, so as to ensure that the power consumption is within the contract capacity, and achieve energy conservation goals through energy management. In addition, BIM (building information modeling) is imported. Through 3D visual maintenance and operation management and dispatching, the system position is linked to the war situation room, and remote control achieves data monitoring and equipment control linkage.

Smart Building System Case – Taipei Demo

The smart building management system of Taipei Demo will be completed in the near future. Through the remote monitoring platform, more than 20 kinds of systems with more than 60000 equipments cross building and cross district building systems will be connected, and the monitoring and equipment control of each subsystem data will be linked to achieve central monitoring, energy and asset security management.

FIC and Mitsubishi Electric jointly released Diamond Controls ™, the smart building integration platform, is provided by Mitsubishi Electric for building core motor equipment. At the same time, the integrated platform is used for remote monitoring and management to practice building intelligence. In the future, it will be expanded and applied to the development of smart cities to realize Taiwan’s vision of smart cities.
